What We Are

MacIntosh Woods is designed to meet the need for smaller, well-designed energy efficient homes for local residents who want to remain in Vergennes or move to Vermont, but who aren’t interested in condominium or apartment living.

Today there are limited options for smaller, single family dwelling units in Vergennes, and Vermont in general.  MacIntosh Woods designs are highly energy-efficient “net-zero” structures which provide low cost of living, and also anticipate the future of Vermont housing needs.

We designed the neighborhood carefully, preserving a central open space that lends a community feeling, and clustered the homes to also give each home a sense of privacy. The current tree landscaping will be maintained as much as possible to give the neighborhood a “grown-in” look from day one.

MacIntosh Woods includes 20 dwelling units.
